This story revolves around somewhere from 155th position to no. 1. How Mr. Ambani discovered that data is going to be the oxygen of the 21st century. He paused every project and started to invest all his time and money in the telecom industry, and jumped directly on the 4G network. This big step of Ambani shooked and disrupted the whole telecom industry. He made the other telecom companies to a very big loss by his master plans.
So before coming to the market, he analyzed that other telecom companies like Idea, Vodafone, Airtel, etc. have already invested themselves into the old technology of 2G or 3G network, so there was no way left for them to invest in the new technology of 4G network. Now as the investment was so long, other telecom companies were not able to jump up on new technology whereas JIO provided its users with free internet service and covered the maximum market.
Then, a problem arises that people were ready to use the 4G data, but they had 3G mobile phones. What to do now? So, JIO launched a 4G mobile phone namely LYF. Now we have a 4G phone for 4G data usage.
The net worth of Mr. Ambani is increasing day by day, year by year, and today it’s about 80 billion dollars. He is the 5th richest person in the world. Now after this, they are creating an ecosystem by including or purchasing the best of best companies like C-SQUARE, haptic, EMBIBE, etc. under them, and started investing in them. Under this ecosystem, they are going to produce different products and launches like JIO MART, JIO MEET, JIO GLASSES, 5G JIO MOBILES, etc. Also, he is planning to set up 5G technology very soon.
