In 2020, we have already come across such things which made us feel desolate. It is needless to say the worst amongst all other incidents is Novel Coronavirus outbreak. The worldwide pandemic put us behind bars and converted our normal daily life to ‘Work From Home.’

We lost our dear ones. Coming bad news on a daily basis is now a common thing. 2020 snatched bunch of legendary people like Pranab Mukherjee, Diego Maradona, favourite heroes like Sushant Singh Rajput, Irrfan Khan, Veteran actors like Rishi Kapoor, Soumitra Chatterjee, famous music composer S.P. Balasubramaniam and many more. The list is endless.
Apart from all these tragic incidents, misery hits most of the citizens hard, especially who are below the poverty line. The country’s economic condition drastically broke down due to this lockdown. Small businesses are about to die; poor people are spending their rest part of savings to feed their family. Now everybody is counting the hours in the hope of coming back the better days.

2020 and Pandemic

In the pandemic, those who handle all the situations wisely and dedicate their lives to heal the world; the frontline Covid-19 warriors- Doctors, Nurses, Paramedical staffs, and housekeeping etc., for them we can expect a promising future is coming soon.
Now, what about the vaccine?
There are many pharma giants trying so hard to discover a COVID-19 vaccine. Covaxin is one of them which is developed by Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad, India. Recently, Sputnik V has been approved for phase II and phase III trial in India. Pfizer, one of the largest pharma industries developed coronavirus vaccine, which is also 95% effective, but it may not be available in India for long.

Scientists are spending sleepless nights on developing an effective vaccine. Doctors, pharmacists, nurses are working day and night to fight against Covid-19.
So, standing in this critical situation, we need to support them by following rules and maintaining social distancing. Try to wear a mask while you are outside and wash your hands frequently. These may help us to survive this epidemic.

Pandemic is temporary, and good days will surely come soon. All we need to do is not to give up and stay safe as much as we can. Only one month is left to end the year. 2020 might not be good, but next year could be better. So, hope for the best. Stay safe! Have a good life.
