  1. It gives you a new and better perspective of life:

Reading helps you recognize yourself and the world differently. It unfolds your mind and allows you to accept the new waves of life positively. It also exposes new things to you, new ways, further information, and, most importantly, new ways to handle any situation and new ways to solve them.

As Dr. Seuss once wrote, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Falling into a good book opens up a whole new world of knowledge. It also increases your vocabulary plus reading and writing skills, making you a better reader and writer, which may mean higher Intelligence in life later.

3. Reading is right for your brain:

Joseph Addison wrote this quote nearly 300 years ago that, “Reading is to mind, what exercise is to body.” Research has backed this that it increases blood flow, improves your connectivity to the brain, and makes you smarter.

4. It also helps improve your Sleep Cycle:

Most of us are struggling to improve our sleep cycle in these times of pandemic. Creating reading a bedtime ritual will help you relax and decrease stress while scrolling on any screen keeps you awake longer and is also unfavorable for your health mentally and physically.

Reading a true story in which the main character has struggled and faced obstacles for achieving his/her goals. It initially motivates you to take a step towards your goal to fulfill your dream, and books remove the worry and that you might fail.

It opens a positive mindset and shows you that nothing is impossible.

Studies have shown that reading increases your life expectancy and concentration skills. The task is a crucial part of your life. Hence we should daily make time to read at least 30 minutes a day apart from our work. Challenge, Encourage, and even keep track of what you read.

Try reading paper books in your initial stage of reading instead of e-books as paper books help you engross more information even, you’re less likely to get disrated, and paper books amplifies the joy of reading. That is the reason that paper books are still more popular in the times where technology is overtaking almost everything.
